It’s a complex system that isn’t too simple at first, but it allows players to really maximize their role and gives so many options. It took a player teaching me the ropes to really understand everything.
Skills/talents: This part irritated the fuck out of me for a while, I felt weak and confused all the time, and was on the verge of quitting. Sometimes I’ll queue(I’m a tank) and I’ll sit in queue for an hour, I’ll leave queue and rejoin and boom insta-queue, so it’s been one of the less good things, but still it’s fine. If you can get a group in world chat and queue up together, works like a charm. Random dungeon finder: Buggy as shit from what I can tell. If you’re not a fan of ridiculousness and just being dumb, maybe turn world off TLDR: The community is great, friendly, the world chat is cross faction and we all meme. Honestly before then, I was stressed and almost quit. I started on the server about a week ago and it’s been a blast, I had no idea with what I was doing until I was 10 and was able to talk in world. it's just a fucking mess and they are banking on the EXP pots from the store alone. Nobody runs dungeons, nobody explains invasions, dailies, str vs. if you fel comm and dont have the gold to "otherwise drop", will you lose your fel com'd gear? I'd have to grind the thousand gold to get dual spec JUST to try and pass a dps test with spec'd divine storm or something. I've got a worthless 60 melee with only riptide to heal me and no way to pass dps tests because I haven't got a 60 dps talent.

Nobody told you that you need to theorycraft your level 60 spells because if you pick a 3ae you have a very limited amount of 1ae talents, nor that you can NEVER UNDO THIS CHOICE because it's fucking randomized?!Īnd it's not even a guaranteed 2/3 ae talent? Nobody told you that the human racial doesn't remove fear because a salty dev removed it. You've got a character with 3 totems, slow fall, teleport: moonglade, and everyone is spamming IS CAT FORM EVER USEFUL?

You get past the thousands of people rerolling afk with AHK and get past the multiboxed level 30s rerolling for windfury, and you're finally 60. I'm a new player and I'm learning the ropes of the server on the F R E S H whisperwind seasonal server. I'm really disappointed with the choices devs made to this server.
